How to make strawberry bubble tea at home

Today, I’ll be guiding you on how to make this strawberry milk tea at home. This drink is for hot summer seasons to refresh, but it depends on where you’re from. The following are the ingredients used in the drink.

Ingredients:

  • Fresh frozen strawberries or strawberry powders.
  • Milk 
  • Sugar 
  • Tapioca pearls 
  • Green or black tea (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Steps to follow :

Preparing  the tapioca

So, we’ll start by preparing the tapioca pearls. The very first and time taking activity, we already discussed how to prepare the tapioca pearl in detail.

When you first get them, you’ll find that they’re hard and white prior to cooking so what you want to do is boil the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. Once you turn off the heat and then scoop it out of the hot water and place it in cold water so it helps the boba pearls become springy and chewy. 

Now soak them in sugar syrup or honey for added sweetness and what will happen is it will absorb some of that sugar sweetness and become a little sweeter. 

Make strawberry syrup 

You can use fresh strawberries or frozen Cut the strawberries into pieces with some water and sugar added. The great thing about this is that you get to control the amount of sugar that you put into your strawberry syrup, so you get to determine how much sugar you want in your strawberry.

Simmer your strawberries until they start to fall apart: it will take about 10 minutes; once you’re done, you want to leave it to sit for about five minutes before you strain your strawberries.

Making base tea 

To make the black tea, that’s very easy: boil the water and then stick black tea bags in the water for about five minutes. You don’t want to leave the tea bags in  there for too long, or else the tea becomes bitter.

Ensemble tea drink

First, add the topical pearls to the bottom of the glass, then add some ice cubes. Next, add your strawberry syrup, and you get to determine how much you want, then add the milk. So the good thing about the milk is you can decide what kind of milk you use; you could use full-fat milk, coconut milk or almond milk. You could skip the milk completely if you choose, that’s up to you.
